Yasin Schroeder
I make complex things accessible —
and bring the right people and ideas together.
A mind between
worlds.
I am Yasin — born and raised in Heidelberg, with German and Turkish roots that shaped how I move through the world. I hold a B.A. in Media & Communication Management and currently work at bildbrauerei, producing and post-producing video and audio content.
My guiding concept is Universalgelehrtentum — a Renaissance-style appreciation for learning across disciplines. Philosophy, psychology, worldbuilding, nature, tea, spices, music: these are not just hobbies. They are the lenses through which I see.
“Curiosity, humility,
love, and openness.”

The lenses
I see through.
Worldbuilding & D&D
As a Dungeon Master with a custom-built world, I am an architect of lore, ecosystems, and narratives. Every campaign is a collaborative novel written in real time.
Philosophy & Psychology
Fascinated by the human condition — how we think, why we act, what we feel. The examined life is worth living.
Tea & Mindfulness
Tea is a ritual. A moment of stillness. It represents the grounded, sensory, and meditative side of who I am.
Music
A constant companion that sets the emotional tone for all my pursuits. From jazz to folk to ambient — music is the invisible architecture of my days.
Culinary Nuance
A curated spice collection — Bird's Eye Chili, Saffron, Sumac, Himalayan salt. Cooking is blending worlds, much like everything else I love.
Nature
Forests, open skies, the smell of rain. Nature is where I reset and where the most grounded thinking happens.
Tools & Skills
Fragments.
Short notes. Unfinished ideas. Things I keep returning to.
On Curiosity as a Way of Being
Curiosity is not just a trait. It is a posture — a way of facing the world that refuses to take anything as already understood.
The Spice Principle
Why I collect spices — and what it has taught me about nuance, patience, and the pleasure of blending things that weren't meant to meet.
Worlds Within Worlds
On building fictional worlds and how the act of worldbuilding changes the way you see the real one.
Tea and the Art of Waiting
The kettle, the steep, the cooling. Tea teaches you that some things cannot be rushed.
Let's talk.
Whether it's a project, a collaboration, or just a good conversation over tea — I'm open.
